Found at the top of the closet in a run down McMansion.<\/p>\n

A ladies’ beaverskin riding hat.<\/p>\n

Circa 1920<\/p>\n

Such beautiful curves that I wanted to steal it.<\/p>\n

From Saugatuck, Michigan<\/strong><\/p>\n\"\"\n

On a cross country drive I stopped to visit my cool friend Ken Krayer.<\/p>\n

He lent me this.<\/p>\n

Here it is closed.<\/p>\n

You turn the end, and it opens like this.<\/p>\n

“What is it?” I asked<\/p>\n

“I don’t know.” he said, “But objects find you, you don’t find them”.<\/p>\n

It looks vaguely sinister.<\/p>\n
